We’re more than a car company. We’re a company that cares.
We’ve been caring for over a hundred years. Why do we do it? Because caring matters. Because breast cancer won't cure itself. Because an active kid is a healthy kid. And because those who protect us deserve the best. Join Chevrolet and our dealers as we continue our mission to create a better world.
Training tomorrow’s technicians
The road to self-discovery is paved with community — loved ones who help us learn, grow and transform. It’s important to GM that we’re contributive and supportive members of that community. That’s why we offer the GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) — certified automotive service training to help kick-start careers. ASEP blends classroom learning with hands-on apprenticeships, and helps students streamline their career path while earning an associate degree. Above you can watch how ASEP helped Chevy dealership employee Ashley find a community and a career she loves as a GM-certified auto technician.
Proud to be a part of country music for the last 100 years
When country music and Chevrolet come together, that’s where you’ll find songs of hard work, perseverance, and an unbreakable spirit — the stories of America. In order to help the next generation of songwriters find their voices, we donated $75,000 to the Nashville Songwriters Foundation at this year’s CMA Awards. Established in 1970, the Nashville Songwriters Foundation is a nonprofit with a mission to honor Nashville’s rich legacy of songwriting excellence through preservation, celebration and education. The donation will go toward providing resources and education for a new generation of songwriters shaping the next century of country music.
Driving the future of STEM education
Children are our future. That’s why Chevrolet is dedicated to helping kids explore their passion for science and technology by helping provide access to STEM programming. We teamed up with Alex Rodriguez to give away a new 2025 Chevy Tahoe to the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem. A new vehicle will allow the club to drive children around the community for learning opportunities and hands-on STEM experience. As a former Boys and Girls Club member and the son of a GM employee, Alex Rodriguez’s passion for giving back was inspiring to see.
The Negro Leagues Tribute: Much more than a game.
The Negro Leagues were home to some of the greatest players in the history of baseball. But for these talented individuals and their fans, baseball was much more than a game — it was the representation of a dream that ultimately broke down barriers and changed lives. Together with Major League Baseball, Chevy is proud to be part of the Rickwood Field Tribute to the Negro Leagues, June 18-20, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama. We’re especially proud of the six Chevrolet team members with special connections to the Negro Leagues who took part in this tribute. Click below to see their stories and explore how the Negro Leagues have inspired our past, present and future.
Because we care
Chevrolet has partnered with American Cancer Society® to help make strides against all forms of
Chevy Cares and the power of play
We understand that youth sports are more than fun – they’re a springboard to self-esteem, courage and academic success and provide important life lessons about perseverance and teamwork. That’s why Chevrolet is dedicated to youth sports. From sponsoring instructional clinics and contributing equipment to refurbishing fields and providing uniforms, Chevy is helping to empower the next generation of major league talent, both on and off the field.
Looking out for our military
Chevrolet honors active service members, veterans and their families. We’ve partnered with Operation Homefront in their drive to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. We also support Wreaths Across America to honor our fallen heroes by donating 4,000 wreaths each year that are laid at over 1,200 cemeteries, including Arlington National Cemetery.
Together we’re stronger
Diversity, equity and inclusion lie at the heart of Chevy culture. We’re committed to GM’s aspiration to be the most inclusive company in the world. We do this through programs and partnerships that drive inclusivity in the communities where our drivers, employees and customers live, work and play.
