The science of speed
Never satisfied with the current standings, Chevrolet pushes the limits of racing innovation to reach the finish line first and fastest. From state-of-the-art development and engineering advancements — including AI, machine learning, simulations and more — to a track-down approach to manufacturing, our passion for motorsports is fueled by a hardwired desire to produce world-class racing vehicles using technology that will ultimately make every Chevrolet vehicle smarter.
Using Camaro ZL1 as a platform, our NASCAR Cup Series™ program provides the most authentic connection between track and showroom.
The advancements made in our 2.2-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine help inspire some of the efficient technologies found in our production vehicles, because when we win, the whole lineup wins.
Although street-inspired, the Corvette Z06 GT3.R is a track-only race car that’s ready to dominate the GT3 category in the 2024 racing season.
From grass roots events featuring the COPO Camaro to legendary funny car driver John Force, see how we never stop pushing for that next big win.

Chevy brings home back-to-back Indy 500 wins
Congratulations to Josef Newgarden and Team Penske on securing their second Indy 500® win in a row after an exciting last lap pass. And thanks for turning over a century’s worth of Chevy engineering innovations and racing advancements into the 13th Chevy-powered Indy 500 win. With Scott McLaughlin’s pole position, an all-Chevy starting front row, and Newgarden’s win, Chevy-power truly owns the month of May.
Larson doubles down
This Memorial Day weekend, Kyle Larson and Team Chevy are slated to attempt “The Double” — racing in both the Indy 500® and NASCAR® Coca-Cola® 600 on the same day — a feat that hasn’t been attempted since Kurt Busch did it a decade ago. While racing 1,100 miles in a day requires elite athleticism and fortitude, Chevrolet is supporting the full-team effort with advanced racing technology and engineering to make success possible. From dyno machine testing and calibration of engines, drivetrains and more, to advanced driver training with the Driver-in-the-Loop simulators, Chevrolet is committed to pushing the limits of performance.
The Great American Race has never looked this great
Thanks to an unforgettable effort by our teams and drivers, Team Chevy completed the NASCAR sweep at Daytona. Congratulations to William Byron and Hendrick Motorsports, Austin Hill and Richard Childress Racing and Nick Sanchez with Rev Racing / Spire Motorsports. Performances like this have made Chevy the winningest brand in NASCAR, with 102 NASCAR National Series wins at Daytona, and more Daytona 500 wins than any manufacturer.
Winning isn’t the goal, it’s the expectation
We’ve wrapped another incredible season the same way we started, as the winningest brand in the NASCAR Cup Series. The sweep of all three NASCAR Manufacturer Championships – Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck – wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of Team Chevy teams and drivers. This is what we mean when we say performance is in our DNA. Thank you for the hard work, all season long to not only keep us moving – but moving fast.
