Electrifying the future

As our world evolves, General Motors is aspiring to create a new future for our roads: zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion.  As a longtime leader in advancing vehicle technology, Chevrolet Performance is committed to helping bring this new future to life.

Where we’ve been

For more than 60 years, we have been putting our commitment to power and performance to work, serving as a leader in the industry and always striving bring new innovations to market. Chevrolet Performance continues to build on the legacy of our existing crate engine packages, offering an expansive portfolio including Big-Block, Small-Block, Circle Track, LSX, LS, LT, and E-ROD varieties. This, coupled with our involvement in developing a host of high-performance vehicles like the Corvette, the SS, the Camaro, and the COPO Camaro, has given us a prominent presence in many of the world’s top racing series. The bottom line? We’ve always been committed to raising the bar for automotive enthusiasts by pushing the envelope of what new technology can accomplish.

Where we are

The common thread through everything we do is our passion—for performance, for precision, for innovation—and that never wavers, even as technology evolves.

Whether we’re working with crate engines or future Ultium batteries, it’s that passion that drives us not only to constantly push the boundaries of vehicle technology, but to commit to rigorous validation and testing for every product we produce. And while electrification may seem like a wave of the future, our engineers have already been pouring their passion into developing within the electric space to provide modernized power without losing the classic elements of racing and building products that Chevrolet Performance is known for.

Chevrolet Performance was a pioneer of the e-crate Connect & Cruise concept, using a double-stack electronic motor as an alternative to the original gas engine to provide up to 700 horsepower with zero tailpipe emissions.

This innovation has been put to work in concept vehicles like the E-10 and the eCOPO Camaro (featured above), seamlessly blending classic style and high performance to create a whole new perspective on electric vehicles.

Where we’re going

As General Motors continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology to envision a new future on our roads, Chevrolet Performance remains committed to this vision by pursuing electric alternatives in the performance parts industry. The future is upon us, and it’s our goal not just to adapt to that future but to continue to drive it, as Chevrolet Performance has done since the beginning. We intend to continue making our mark in the electric arena to show that classic and modern can coexist in a powerful way. The possibilities of innovation are limitless—and we’re excited to invite you along on this journey as we shape the future of electrified performance.
