Change Your Cargo Area’s Floor Height with Adjustable Cargo Floor

The Adjustable Cargo Floor allows you to change your cargo area’s floor height with a hinged panel that can be slid out and placed into upper or lower side slots when needed.

How to Adjust the Cargo Floor

Top position:

  1. Use the loop on the front to pull the floor panel toward you, and then lift and push it into the top track.
  2. If the floor panel gets stuck amid sliding it out, use your other hand to lift it slightly as you pull.
  3. Use the small shelf along the side of the cargo wall to guide the panel into the upper side slots.

⎯  This position creates a flat cargo area when the rear seats are folded with no bump where the seats meet the cargo floor

Lower position:

  1. Use the loop on the front to pull the floor panel toward you and then push it down into the bottom track.
  2. If the floor panel gets stuck amid sliding it out, use your other hand to lift it slightly as you pull.
  3. Use the lower shelf along the side of the cargo wall to guide the panel into the lower side slots.

⎯  This position can provide 2.7 in. (69 mm) more height for transporting taller items

Accessing the storage compartment below the Adjustable Cargo Floor:

The cargo floor panel is hinged in the center to help you access items stored in the compartment below. This compartment size varies, depending on which position the floor panel is in. To access the area:

  1. Lift up one side of the cargo floor and hold it in position with one hand. (Be aware that the lifted side of the cargo floor will drop if you let go.)
  2. Use your free hand to access the items in the compartment beneath the cargo floor.

Removing the Adjustable Cargo Floor:

  1. Use the loop on the front to pull the floor panel toward you and slide it all the way out of the cargo area.
  2. If the floor panel gets stuck amid sliding it out, use your other hand to lift it slightly as you pull.

NOTE: When using the lower cargo floor position, you might have to move any items, such as charge cords, that won’t fit in the smaller space available with the panel in the lower side slots. It is recommended that you remove all cargo before adjusting between floor positions.
