Chevrolet Advanced Trailering System and Tow/Haul Mode– Quick Start

The available Chevrolet Advanced Trailering System offers a variety of camera views† and connected features designed to help make your trailering experience easier and more versatile (if equipped; some features may also require accessory equipment installation).

Depending on your vehicle’s equipment, available features include an In-Vehicle Trailering App,† integration with the myChevrolet Mobile App† and more.

If equipped, the available Advanced Trailering System includes the Trailering In-Vehicle App, accessible through the infotainment system using the Trailering icon on the Home screen.

You can use the Trailering In-Vehicle App to:

  • Create a pre-departure checklist
  • Test trailer lights
  • See your trailer brake status

Tow/Haul Mode

Some vehicles are equipped with an available Traction Select System that lets you switch drive modes to increase your vehicle’s performance in different conditions.

If your vehicle has Tow/Haul mode, switching to it keeps the vehicle in a lower gear for more torque, improving the drive when pulling a trailer or heavy load.

Use the Traction Select System bank of buttons to the left of the steering wheel to select Tow/Haul mode.
